So I am sitting around the house, dying to get outside when it starts raining, and all of a sudden my need to go outside vanishes. Well it happened to also be lunchtime, and I was getting hungry. I had some corn in the fridge, and decided to make something raw. I hope you enjoy my Raw Corn Chowder w. Basil

Ingredients:

• A couple Ears of Corn
• 3 Tbsp of Seeds (Pumpkin, Sunflower, Almond, Cashew)
• A clove of garlic
• 2-3 Tbsp Olive Oil
• A cup or so of water
• a few sprigs Basil for garnish and flavor

Directions

Just put all the ingredients in a food processor apart from the Olive oil & water. Process till smooth{ish). Add Olive oil little by little, and then water until desired texture is reached. Garnish with Basil and enjoy with a could beverage of choice, I’m addicted to Sweet Leaf Teas at the moment.

My Powerbook G4 was turning 7 years old and it was time for a renewal… and Boy is it a renewal the new machine is soooo much faster its unbelievable how much difference there is… well it is 7 years of progress I am witnessing…

My friend C Will is an amazing drummer and he invited me to see him play with Olamide Faison, lead singer of the R&b group Imajin on May 25th at the Bitter End.

The Bitter End is a venue specifically made for great up and coming artist to showcase their talents. Many legends have performed there such as Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Lady Gaga, and more. The tickets were just $5. A small price to pay for great entertainment.

Isn’t it funny how random life can be. I was in need of a quick bite to eat as I was heading over to watch a game of football with some friends. As you all know by now, i’m rather selective of what I eat, so I didn’t just want to grab some fast food or snacks, I needed something to hold me down. I just got a new Blackberry, my first, and decided to give the GPS a try.

I was presented with a bunch of vegan restaurants that I’d never heard of. After walking to the closest ones, finding they were all closed for the night, I ended up at the last chance to get something to eat. It happened to be Wild Ginger, and was I in for a surprise. The food was delicious, and the prices were actually decent for Soho/little Italy. It actually was so good, that I have now been there 3-4 times in the last 2 weeks, and i brought my friends there too

So head on over to Mulberry and Broome and try out this little jewel of a restaurant.

Ingredients

• 3-4 Leaves Romaine Lettuce
• 1/2 Cucumber
• 1/2 Zucchini
• 1-2 Tomatoes
• 1/2 cup lentil sprouts
• 1/2 Red Pepper (Capsicum)
• 2-3 stalks (hearts) celery
• 1/2 cup mixed pumpkin and sunflower seeds
• 1/2 Olives (of choice) I used black

• Dressing

• 1-2 TBS Olive Oil
• 1 TBS Apple Cider Vinegar
• 1-2 Tbs Braggs Liqiud Aminos
• 1 TBS Nutritional Yeast (instead of salt)

This is a very basic dressing I use to keep my food as alkaline as possible, as I am combating a mild outbreak of Eczema on my palm these days. You can use which ever dressing you like, the options are plenty.

This salad is packing a load of Protein, Minerals and Vitamins, and is a full meal in and of itself.
