Quick Recipe: Spring Salad

Now that I am more or less on a 100% raw plan, I decided to share a nice little quick, filling recipe that you can do in so many variations. The all popular salad.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Leaves Romaine Lettuce
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 1/2 Zucchini
  • 1-2 Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup lentil sprouts
  • 1/2 Red Pepper (Capsicum)
  • 2-3 stalks (hearts) celery
  • 1/2 cup mixed pumpkin and sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 Olives (of choice) I used black
  • Dressing

  • 1-2 TBS Olive Oil
  • 1 TBS Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1-2 Tbs Braggs Liqiud Aminos
  • 1 TBS Nutritional Yeast (instead of salt)

This is a very basic dressing I use to keep my food as alkaline as possible, as I am combating a mild outbreak of Eczema on my palm these days. You can use which ever dressing you like, the options are plenty.

This salad is packing a load of Protein, Minerals and Vitamins, and is a full meal in and of itself.
